Hey J… I imagine other readers may be wondering: why are your arrows for first/prev/next/last such a weird shape? It's not such a pressing question that anyone would bother asking but if I didn't already know why this would kinda nag at the back of my alleged brain.
All design elements of Botaram, except for text, frames and my signature, have been taken from a set of two palettes of shapes. The first palette gave the shapes of Aun and Chax, and the second provided shapes for the other characters and the rest of the world.
It seemed fitting to draw graphic elements for the website design from the same source.
In a bleak alien landscape, two creatures raised from birth to be each other's enemies decide to think instead. One seeks Botaram, a place of high ideals and austere beauty; the other seeks to protect Botaram from being defiled by creatures like the first. An uneasy truce is formed amid heartbreak and broken ties, and through the ashes of their world they search for a truth that may no longer exist, abandoning friends, honor, and perhaps their lives… or worse. > Read from the beginning

Hmmmm…. at some point (perhaps when we finally reach the end of the story) are you planning to show your readers the two palettes?
Hamachisn't
…Or have they been shown already?
