Title: The Thing That Slays
(The creature looks confused and hisses as the eluctuant spreads over its body and takes effect. The specks on its body grow into large gray patches that form patterns and the thing throws its beak back and screeches and hisses louder as bubbles swell on it. Then it droops limply, lifeless.)
