Title: Holes and Lumps
(Aun walks across the scene and pokes at the sack full of eluctuant capsules.)
Aun: Most precepts always seem so clear cut when you are learning at the feet of the Ancestors... Then you enter the world and everything gets muddy. I would never ever have dreamed of breaking a ritual I'd been taught before I met him.
Aun: It seems that nothing can be easy, nothing can just work. There are holes and lumps in everything. But then you flagrantly break the rules and get a decent result anyway. Why does the truth lie so far behind the laws of decent conduct?
Aun: It’s like I’m being punished. For showing him mercy.
